ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച സോളാർ കാർ മത്സരമാണ് ബ്രിഡ്ജ്‌സ്റ്റോൺ വേൾഡ് സോളാർ ചലഞ്ച്. ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയയിലെ ഡാർവിനിൽ നിന്ന് അഡ്‌ലെയ്ഡിലേക്ക് യാത്ര ചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും കാര്യക്ഷമമായ ചില സോളാർ വാഹനങ്ങൾ രൂപകൽപ്പന ചെയ്യാനും നിർമ്മിക്കാനും പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നവരെ വെല്ലുവിളിക്കുന്നു – മൊത്തം 3,000 കിലോമീറ്റർ (1,860 മൈൽ). 2019 ൽ 21 രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് റെക്കോർഡ് 44 ടീമുകൾ പങ്കെടുത്തു. ഇതിലേക്ക് ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ ടീമിനെ എത്തിക്കുക എന്നുള്ളതാണ് സന്തോഷിന്റെ സ്വപ്നം അഥവാ ലക്‌ഷ്യം.
അതിനു മുന്നോടിയായി ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഒരു സോളാർ കാർ റേസ്! സൂര്യ ക്രാന്തി സോളാർ ചലഞ്ച് ഇന്ത്യ എന്നാണ് ഇതിൻറെ പേര്. സന്തോഷ് താന്നിക്കാട് എന്ന മലയാളി ആണ് ഇതിനു മുൻപന്തിയിൽ നിന്ന് ഈ സ്വപ്നത്തിനെ സാക്ഷാത്കരിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്. നമുക്ക് അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻറെ രസകരമായ അനുഭവങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കാം.
