About Bindu Sathyajith
Bindu started her carreer at the age of 19 with The Taj Group of Hotels. Within one year she started her own business. She is the owner of Polycolors International – a chemical unit manufacturing Pigment Paste for the composite industry, one of the first of its kind in the state of Kerala. She is an active supporter of women entrepreneurship in Kerala.
Bindu has won some Prestigious Awards like Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award from The Solidarity Council, Bharath Nirman Award, Gold Star Award as the Best Woman Entrepreneur. Her company has also won the International Title of The Most Emerging Company from India. She is a doctorate from the Sorbonne University which has produced 32 Nobel prize winners.
What sets Bindu apart is not all these, she is the founder of eUnnathi, a non profit organization for the economic empowerment of women and children. 19-ാം വയസ്സിൽ ദി താജ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ഓഫ് ഹോട്ടൽസിൽ ബിന്ദു തൻ്റെ തൊഴിൽ ജീവിതം ആരംഭിച്ചു. ഒരു വർഷത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ബിന്ദു സ്വന്തമായി ഒരു ബിസിനസ്സ് ആരംഭിച്ചു. പോളികോളേഴ്സ് ഇന്റർനാഷണലിന്റെ ഉടമയാണ് – Composite വ്യവസായത്തിനായി പിഗ്മെന്റ് പേസ്റ്റ് നിർമ്മിക്കുന്ന കെമിക്കൽ യൂണിറ്റ്, കേരള സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ആദ്യത്തേതാണ്.
ജീവിതത്തിൽ പല പരാജയങ്ങൾ നേരിട്ടപ്പോഴും തളരാതെ മുന്നോട്ടു നീങ്ങിയ ഒരു ധീര വനിതയാണ് ബിന്ദു. ഇപ്പോൾ ബിന്ദു “ഇ ഉന്നതി” എന്ന് പേരുള്ള ഒരു സാമൂഹിക സേവന സംഘടനയുടെ നേതാവാണ്. ഇ ഉന്നതി സ്ത്രീകളുടെ സാമ്പത്തിക ഉന്നമനത്തിനു വേണ്ടി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. ഇത് മാത്രമല്ല അനേകായിരം ജീവ കാരുണ്യ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ ബിന്ദു വ്യാപൃതയാണ്. കോവിഡ് -19 പ്രതിസന്ധി ഘട്ടത്തിൽ ഇറ്റലിയിൽ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടുപോയ ഇന്ത്യൻ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ സ്വന്തം നാട്ടിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതിൽ എറണാകുളം സ്വദേശിയായ ബിന്ദു സത്യജിത്ത് പ്രധാന പങ്കു വഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനെ കുറിച്ച് കൂടുതൽ അറിയാൻ ഈ പോഡ്കാസ്റ്റ് കേൾക്കൂ.
